It is good news for the Philippines workers living abroad and working there as a driver, the Government of Philippines starting a pilot project for renewing the driver’s license from the next month December 2024.
This will be the second project, the Govt also launched a project for renewing the driver’s license but due to some reasons like the unavailability of the medical staff to examine the applicant’s medical status and issue the medical certificate, the Govt closed that project.
According to LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza II: this project will be very beneficial for the OFWs, it will be a very easy process for the driver’s license renewal. The chief secretory said we have eliminated all the issues that we have faced in the first pilot project.
